Things were a bit light this past month. I was able to finish the WhereAreGames scoreboard changes and was able to get that posted. I started working on getting the PHP version updated and also updated the JavaScript tools as well. Ran into a bit of problem with Google's Material Design icons not loading properly. It looks like WebPack is converting them to some strange file for some reason. Still working on it and hope to clean up the score view of the scoreboard as right now is doesn't separate very good between the objectives. Due to the arrangement of the lines I will be able to use a bigger font as well. I might try and make some other adjustments if I can fit it in. Got a about 4 people to load the play side completely, and already there seems to be one so far this month. At least there is some using it other than me. I hope to expand it's capabilities as soon as I figure out what those are.
I also have queued up a upgraded version of Dynaballot as well. It will be running the latest version of PHP when it is posted. I am also upgrading the JavaScript tools on that as well. I don't seem to be having the same issue with WebPack and the Google Material Design. So I probably should have a look at how that is setup again and see I can reproduce it in WhereAreGames. Still not getting much use out of this app, but going to keep it around so show what I can do.
More exciting news I had to rebuild my CI/CD server. The old one was running out of space even though not much was added to it. So I rebuilt it with 10 more gigs and a new version of Linux. Another thing I changed was to run Jenkins in a docker container, which has been an interesting switch. Was trying to run docker for as much as possible on the server, but still ended up running a couple things locally. Things are running smoother now and not failing because docker was filling up the hard drive. I had to rebuild everything, but wanted to go another step up with the version of PHP anyways.
The SEO needles don't seem to be moving much. I think I need to expand some capabilities of at least WhereAreGame, maybe it will go up. Just need to get the work a mouth going.
