I have an update, but due to the regulations around privacy and cookies I can't upload the update. The DynaBallot update would added a new ballot type that would have been good about 2 months ago when the holiday season started. It would also add some things that would help with the SEO and added privacy policy. It seems I need to lawyer up and get a proper privacy policy built, then add the dorky cookie popup and maybe even have a cookie policy. It is crazy what regulations are out there now even if you are not located in the region that the policy is in. Just because someone in some odd region writes a policy, I have to stop everything and comply with it. The reason is because they can access it. Not only do I need to keep up with the latest security issues, I have to keep an eye out for rogue privacy regulations. Almost makes you wonder if it is worth innovating and trying to make something useful.
Turns out I have been wanting to lawyer up anyways because I want to start this "business". Which I might need to get going more sooner than later as my job is being outsourced (yes, Wafy's Tools is a part time gig and part portfolio). I have a couple months yet, but I don't know if I am going have a paying job in a company I have been at for 21 years. So for the last couple weeks I have been looking at learning another language since no one local seems to use PHP, instead they use C#. I prefer PHP partly because I have been using it for almost 21 years. Though C# does have it merits. So we will see what happens in the next couple months.
