Was able to push out the Wherearegames update and the SEO for the site seems to be doing a bit better. I posted to my local gaming group and they seemed to enjoy it for about a week. With most places closed and people wanting to stay home so they don't get sick, it is not surprising it isn't getting much use. I will probably post it to a bigger group after this next update to see it will be more of a hit.
I started on the next update for Dynaballot. Did some more refactoring, but trying to resist doing some more to be able to get the feature out on time. I should have the update out sometime this week if everything goes well. I am going to try and spruce up the SEO profile on the site also.
Ran into a problem with the Dynaballot site. Apparently Facebook and Google disable your OAuth API access if you don't get hits to authenticate for a while. Even if the site is active. On Google's defense they also wanted a Privacy Policy page which didn't require when I first started this project. Made some adjustments to the update to allow for a private policy document that I hope will be enough to get reactivated. I probably should have had one anyways being I am using OAuth authentication, which I kind of have a small one on the login screen. Just something that tells what I store. I will probably make one for the other site also.
Facebook Oauth should be working now. I don't think the Google OAuth is working yet until this update is pushed out. If you have previously logged in, then the persistence cookie should log you in fine either way. Given the current traffic for the site, I am not in too big of a rush to get things working again. Keep an eye on the Dynaballot blog site for updates.
